Be a part of our work.VaccinApe is a volunteer organization and we are always looking for new members and partners. We are particularly interested in people who can donate time and expertise in pertinent areas of laboratory science (e.g. vaccinology, virology, immunology) or fieldwork (e.g. primatology, veterinary science).

Many of VaccinApe’s Phase 1 core activities are now well-enough funded to proceed at a baseline level. However, additional funding would allow us to expand the scope of our activities, for instance, allowing us to test more vaccines, conduct pilot vaccination studies at more sites, or move through the veterinary licensing process more quickly. We also have an acute need for salary for field and administrative staff. We are now operating almost entirely on time donated by members, which limits our rate of progress. A list of unfunded items is given below. Unfortunately, we are currently not set up to accept small contributions. However, those wishing to make a large contribution (see Unfunded Activities below), please contact VaccinApe.

VaccinApe is a volunteer organization and we are always looking for new members and partners. We are particularly interested in people who can donate time and expertise in pertinent areas of laboratory science (e.g. vaccinology, virology, immunology) or fieldwork (e.g. primatology, veterinary science). However, we also have a variety of other needs, including web design and multi-media production, member and public relations, fundraising, and French translation. We are already overstretched so we are looking for self-motivated people who, once oriented by our Steering Committee, can pursue these and other issues largely independently.
